Three men working at a petrol station in Reykjavik battle boredom, strange visitors and their own customers.

Næturvaktin revolves around the lives of three employees working at the Shell petrol station in Laugavegur, Reykjavík. The three man night shift is made up of eccentric supervisor Georg Bjarnfreðarson, a committed Marxist, vegan, who has an admiration for everything Swedish. Ólafur Ragnar, a regular employee and a simple, well-meaning guy who dreams of fame and wealth. And Daníel Sævarsson, who after dropping out of medical school joins the team. What the three men don't know is due to this job how profoundly their lives will be forever linked.

Fangavaktin is the sequel to the Icelandic television series Dagvaktin and the final series in the trilogy. The three main characters from Næturvaktin, Georg Bjarnfreðarson, Ólafur Ragnar and Daníel, have become imprisoned in the infamous Litla-Hraun prison following the murder of the hotel owner in Dagvaktin. The story is continued, and brought to a conclusion, in the feature film Bjarnfreðarson. The first episode was broadcast on Stöð 2 on Sunday, 27 September 2009, and an episode was broadcast each following Sunday until the final seventh episode aired on 8 November 2009. The series has been released on DVD.

When Marinó realizes that his mother has secretly been dating a stranger, Marinó starts to lose grip on reality.

The dentist Oscar has been married for five years and lives with his wife and adopted children. On the surface everything seems to be fine but Oscar is not a happy man. For the last couple of months Einar has been living at a hotel waiting for his wife to realize the terrible mistake she made by throwing him out. Katrin Rose returns from Sweden where she has lived for eight years. In Iceland Katrin has an eleven-year-old son, brought up by his grandmother and now Katrin wants him back. Katrin gets a job as a dentist's assistant intending to make a fresh start but her troubled past catches up with her.

Einar, a charismatic history teacher is committed to a remote mental asylum in Iceland. During the bank holiday weekend he initiates an uprising that transforms into a proper revolution where the lunatics literally take over the asylum.

Set in present-day Reykjavík, Fiasco draws a narrative circle of interconnecting stories in which three members of the Bardal household deal with the secret loves in their lives.
