The only one who doesn't join in the joke is the pretty Mette Madsen. She thinks her friends are frivolous and stupid. Oda Holm, who is a very pretty girl, full of sex appeal, claims that Mette, who is also an excellent chairwoman of the chorus girls' organization, is completely devoid of "Oomph". She is incapable of exerting any attraction on men. It becomes too much for Mette.

A lottery win allows the kitchen girl Hansy Hansen to lodge at an upmarket seaside hotel where the widower landowner Rosen falls in love with her. However, Rosen is in financial difficulties because of the lawyer Sadolin, who reneged on marrying his daughter. He puts everything he can into the daughter's horse to win a race.

There is a severe housing shortage in Copenhagen. Eva and Harry both respond to the same rental advertisement. The landlord, Baldrian, believes they are married, which is why they can have the apartment. Baldrian does not want to rent to single people. Therefore, Eva and Harry decide to pretend to be a married couple. Meanwhile, Harry's fiancée Lise is on her way to Oslo, where she will be staying for a few months. According to several old writings, Cocktail means something like mixed - and mixed is probably what you could call "Dana's" first revue production. It is a mix of everything that was good and better in the summer's two big revue successes, and as an extra little splash of fruit juice at the bottom of the shaker, a single thing has been taken from "Circus Revue".
