The Greedy

A mountain adventure set in the mountains of Crete. The fiancé of a beautiful girl is killed on their engagement day by an unknown assailant. Shortly before he dies, the hero implores his beloved to find his killer and avenge his death. She promises to do so and does everything in her power to keep her vow, with the help of a young man who is in love with her.

Two jobbers meet an actor, when the sneak in a theater. The actor is homeless and they invite him to stay with them He will know and love their neighbor, who is studying classical dance.

Mina is a poor girl who arrives on Corfu for vacation. There, she meets Darzento, a rich man pretending to be poor, and poses as the daughter of a shipowner. Then, he shows up, and things take a new turn.

They are taken to the prison of Korydalos where they are constantly beaten and tortured by a sadistic warden who calls himself "God" (played by the ultimate god, Nikos Tsachiridis who seems to enjoy this kind of role...). The film goes on showing the filth that they face.
