One-Penny Youth

A mountain adventure set in the mountains of Crete. The fiancé of a beautiful girl is killed on their engagement day by an unknown assailant. Shortly before he dies, the hero implores his beloved to find his killer and avenge his death. She promises to do so and does everything in her power to keep her vow, with the help of a young man who is in love with her.

Thirty-five years must pass before Alekos (Michael Nikolopoulos) and Lia (Inda Christinaki) can unite their lives. During this time, unpleasant things will happen and plots will be hatched to keep them apart.

The film goes on showing the filth that they face.
