Hitoshi Soma, the leader of the Soma group, went to the third chairman, Goichi Yajima, with his feet settled with Keizo Sakai, who planned to take over the Shinseikai, and asked him about the killing of the same gate. On the other hand, the Hanshin Tigers' Murasame prepares to fight with the Soma group because Sakai's Odai was killed, but the chairman, Harimoto, takes measures. The Soma group and the Hanshin Tigers did not appear at the regular meeting of the headquarters. The stage is moved to Kochi, and the conflict between the Soma group and the Hanshin Tigers begins.

Tachibana Shuji (Kazuki Namioka), leader of the Tachibana-gumi under the Anzai-gumi, is a unique figure—a university graduate turned yakuza. Tetsuo Sakuragi (Yasukaze Motomiya) formed a brotherly bond with Kenichi Kanamori (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi) while in prison and, upon release, began serving as an executive for the Shimazu Clan. However, after two police raids disrupted their gambling operations, Sakuragi interrogates a regular customer, Hirata, and uncovers that it was orchestrated by the Koga Family. Sakuragi and Kanamori confront Tatsumi (Takashi Shigematsu) at his office, who had been manipulating Hirata, but Kanamori is shot by a Koga Family member. The long-standing cold war between the Shimazu Clan and the Koga Family erupts into full-blown conflict...!!

During the funeral of Senior Advisor Yudai Kanou (Yudai Ishiyama), the Souryukai executives prepare for battle against the Fourth-Generation Sakata family, who were behind Kanou's murder. However, Chairman Yukihiro Kawaji (Hitoshi Ozawa), wary of the Anti-Boryokudan Law, hesitates to make the first move. Thus, instead of starting a full-scale gang war, he entrusts Takeshi Kanzaki (Hitomi Matsuda) with carrying out revenge on the direct perpetrators and mastermind. Where had Kanou's plans leaked from? Vice Chairman Shinji Wakamiya (Kazuyoshi Ozawa) discovers that the day before Kanou was killed, Daisuke Sakai (Daisuke Nagakura), Chief of the Fourth-Generation Sakata family, met with Eiichi Konkai (Eiichi Furui) of the Sakuraba clan. The tension between both sides rapidly escalates — following emergency surgery, Kanzaki narrowly escapes death. Then, at Kawaji's command, the battle finally ignites!!

The yakuza world has entered an age of war. In Owari, Nobuhide Oriki (Tokuma Nishioka) pushes for unification, while his son Nobunaga (Hitoshi Ozawa) seizes territory by force.
