Based on the novel by Edith Unnerstad about a man, Pip Larsson, who invents a new kind of pot which makes a sound when the stuff you are cooking is ready. As he can't pay the bills he and his family get evicted but luckely they have a couple of carriages they can live in and travel round the country, selling the new kind of pots Pip Larsson has invented.

For several decades, Dirch Passer was by far the most popular Danish revue and film comedian. He had enormous popular appeal, which did not diminish as a result of his untimely death at the age of just 54. Dirch Passer appeared in around 100 films in just under 30 years and was one of the country's most prolific actors. In 1974, he even received a BODIL award for best leading role in "Mig og mafiaen" (Me and the Mafia). Another World Entertainment presents "Blåjakkerne" on Danish DVD for the first time. The film, which came about as a result of a collaboration between the great comedian and Swedish director Arne Mattson, is typical Dirch Passer entertainment, in which Denmark's happy man travels to its northern neighbor and becomes entangled in a myriad of cheerful episodes. If you like Danish folk comedy, you can't go wrong with "Blåjakkerne."

A new teacher arrives to the small village and he soon stir up some trouble with his modern way of looking at things. He also stir up some amorous feelings among the local women.

Sweden 1889. The young Per Nilsson has a very dominant mother, Anna Månsdotter. His father died many years ago and he and his mother have for a long time been in a incestuous relationship. But Per marries Hanna for the sake of her money and Anna is mean and evil towards her, and Per refuses to have sex with her. People on a train get murdered. Who is the murderer? Everybody on the train is a suspect. One of them is the homosexual dope fiend played by Heinz Hopf. Things might get out of hand in this exciting thriller in true Hitchcockian style.

Four Swedish volunteer soldiers are trapped in Russia. In front of them lies the front with enemy outposts and patrols, behind them the enemy minefields. Hope to return to their own lines decreases each day. Corpses of fallen, "dead of cold and hard as iron", forms the macabre landmarks in the winter landscape. Nearby is a burnt Russian village.

It's Christmas. The owner of an old mansion decides to tell his family he's going to sell it. The following morning he's found murdered.

The young high school graduate Göran and the 17-year-old Kerstin get to know each other on the estate of Göran's uncle Persson and fall in love. But their relationship is watched suspiciously by the jammed adult world. While Persson has an understanding of the youth, Kerstin's parents and the pastor of the village rant against the alleged immorality of the young people. In a small town anonymous letters are delivered to five different families. The letters are signed "Veritas" (Truth). They tell of a series of events and conditions that the recipients thought was forgotten and buried long ago.

A ghost called Vita Frun (White Lady) is accused of several murders. Detective Hillman is contacted to resolve the case.

The married detective couple John and Kajsa Hillman goes on a vacation to Holmfors mill where a friend of Kajsa's lives with her husband. When a young woman is found murdered it is clear that this is another case for the Hillmans.

A feuding but very wealthy married couple are planning their divorce while relaxing at luxury hotels in Yugoslavia. The husband decides he wants to get rid of his wife, so hires a hitman. However his wife also has the same planned for her husband, seducing one of her many lovers into doing the job. Should these attempted murders not succeed, the husband will have to carry on being blackmailed by his wife for his incestuous affair with his 16 year old daughter. Since the daughter has her own lethal romantic agenda, things don't go quite as planned.

On a tourist trip abroad the passengers on the coach witness an assassination attempt on the President Hurkas. One of the tourists has evidence against the perpetrators, and is killed when the coach reaches Sweden. Another passenger observes how one of the perpetrators is picked up by a yellow car. She is kidnapped and locked up in a mental hospital.

Young Elisabeth comes to Västlinge to meet her old relative, the vicar and and his young daughter. She is going to spend the Christmas there in peace and quiet but on Christmas Eve, the grocer is brutally murdered with an axe. Police inspector Christer Wijk comes to the small village to find the murderer. He soon discovers the puzzle of evidence that makes almost everybody a suspect.
