For several decades, Dirch Passer was by far the most popular Danish revue and film comedian. He had enormous popular appeal, which did not diminish as a result of his untimely death at the age of just 54. Dirch Passer appeared in around 100 films in just under 30 years and was one of the country's most prolific actors. In 1974, he even received a BODIL award for best leading role in "Mig og mafiaen" (Me and the Mafia). Another World Entertainment presents "Blåjakkerne" on Danish DVD for the first time. The film, which came about as a result of a collaboration between the great comedian and Swedish director Arne Mattson, is typical Dirch Passer entertainment, in which Denmark's happy man travels to its northern neighbor and becomes entangled in a myriad of cheerful episodes. If you like Danish folk comedy, you can't go wrong with "Blåjakkerne."

Emil and Ove are two happily married men. Both are currently bachelorssince their wives are on holiday in Denmark. One day Emil almost run over a beautiful woman at Nybroplan in Stockholm. She is a outstanding redhead.

It is in a battlefield in Karelia, Finland during the Continuation war (1941-1944). Intensive shooting between Finnish and Soviet troops takes place. But Per marries Hanna for the sake of her money and Anna is mean and evil towards her, and Per refuses to have sex with her. She starts to suspect that something is going on between her husband and stepmother.

People on a train get murdered. Who is the murderer? Everybody on the train is a suspect. One of them is the homosexual dope fiend played by Heinz Hopf. Things might get out of hand in this exciting thriller in true Hitchcockian style.

The married detective couple John and Kajsa Hillman goes on a vacation to Holmfors mill where a friend of Kajsa's lives with her husband. When a young woman is found murdered it is clear that this is another case for the Hillmans.

On a tourist trip abroad the passengers on the coach witness an assassination attempt on the President Hurkas. One of the tourists has evidence against the perpetrators, and is killed when the coach reaches Sweden. Another passenger observes how one of the perpetrators is picked up by a yellow car. She is kidnapped and locked up in a mental hospital.
