Lady in White

A model is murdered at a famous fashion house and the Hillmans start to investigate. Kajsa Hillman is employed as a model and discovers that several people had motives to kill her.

The married detective couple John and Kajsa Hillman goes on a vacation to Holmfors mill where a friend of Kajsa's lives with her husband. When a young woman is found murdered it is clear that this is another case for the Hillmans.

When private eye John Hillman is on assignment in London his wife Kajsa visits the Army's riding school at Strömsholm, Sweden. She gets involved in the strange murder of the Blue Rider. Unknown to everyone at Strömsholm.

On a tourist trip abroad the passengers on the coach witness an assassination attempt on the President Hurkas. One of the tourists has evidence against the perpetrators, and is killed when the coach reaches Sweden. Another passenger observes how one of the perpetrators is picked up by a yellow car. She is kidnapped and locked up in a mental hospital.

Based on the novel by Edith Unnerstad about a man, Pip Larsson, who invents a new kind of pot which makes a sound when the stuff you are cooking is ready. As he can't pay the bills he and his family get evicted but luckely they have a couple of carriages they can live in and travel round the country, selling the new kind of pots Pip Larsson has invented.

Dirch Passer appeared in around 100 films in just under 30 years and was one of the country's most prolific actors. In 1974, he even received a BODIL award for best leading role in "Mig og mafiaen" (Me and the Mafia). Another World Entertainment presents "Blåjakkerne" on Danish DVD for the first time. The film, which came about as a result of a collaboration between the great comedian and Swedish director Arne Mattson, is typical Dirch Passer entertainment, in which Denmark's happy man travels to its northern neighbor and becomes entangled in a myriad of cheerful episodes. If you like Danish folk comedy, you can't go wrong with "Blåjakkerne."
