Dang Anom

Dang Anom, the beautiful daughter of Sang Rajuna Tapa, is engaged to Panglima Malang. Having fallen for Dang Anom, the Sultan makes her his concubine against her wish. Panglima Malang is helpless but manages to sneak into the palace for a secret meeting with Dang Anom. Unfortunately, they are caught and the Sultan sentences the lovers to be killed in a cruel manner. In order to save his daughter, Sang Rajuna Tapa opens the gate of the fort and lets the army of the Majapahit into the sultanate.

Azura

A boy from a wealthy family is always socializing with the wrong group of friends. He is very mischief and always involved in gang fights. One day he met a girl and falls in love with her. The girl, Azura, later changed the boy's character and he became a good and well mannered boy. He proposed to Azura but thier marriage was objected by his parents because Azura comes from a poor family. Despite of his parents objection, he marries Azura and leaves behind all his family's wealth. He works as a laborer to support Azura. Everything was perfect until one day Azura is found to be pregnant. Her husband suspects that the baby she is carrying does'nt belong to him. Misunderstanding then arise between them...

The Oily Man

A village comes alive with fear when a nefarious ‘oily man’ terrorises women in the dead of night. At their wits end, the local police enlist the help of talented police inspector Dasuki to trap and end the oily man’s mischief. Orang Minyak was digitally restored by the Asian Film Archive in 2018 using a 16mm black & white composite release print from its collection.

Lanchang Kuning

To seek revenge on a woman whom doesn't reciprocate his love, Dato Ali lies to the Sultan that misfortune will befall him and his kingdom if a sacrificial ritual is not performed. The Sultan believes him and orders that the sacrificial ritual be carried out, without knowing that it involves the use of blood from a woman in her first pregnancy on the sail boat 'Lancang Kuning' before its maiden voyage.

Raden Mas

The movie adaptation based on the legend of Raden May Ayu. It follows the original tale rather closely, though a few variations of the legend do exist. The essence of each of the variations is more or less the same: Radin Mas Ayu is the baby daughter of Pangeran (brother of the Sultan of Java) and a court dancer; she is forced to go on exile to Temasek with his father after the Sultan disagrees with her parents' marriage and burns their house down, killing her mother. Radin Mas Ayu grows up to be a pious and filial daughter, but is despised out of jealousy by her stepmother. She eventually sacrifices herself as she shields her father from a murderous attack.

Sultan Mahmood Mangkat Di-Julang

Based on the royal and political events during the heyday of the Malacca Sultanate. A member of the Sultanate, Megat Datuk Seri Rama, successfully defeats a group of pirates, and rescues a local beautiful woman in the process. The king, Sultan Mahmud, was delighted with his victory for his kingdom and promotes Megat Datuk Seri Rama to Rear Admiral Datuk. This leads to resentment and jealousy from another member of the court, Bija Tun Ali, especially after Rear Admiral Megat Datuk Seri Rama marries the woman he rescued. Bija Tun Ali then leads a conspiracy against him which ultimately leads to tragedy and upheaval in the kingdom. Written by mahajanssen

Tiger Ghost

Produced by Cathay-Keris, this omnibus of three stories (with different directors) was adapted from mystery tales featuring Detective Inspector Latiff (S. Roomai Noor), a character created Pelham Groom, a former British officer and genre writer who settled in Singapore. Latiff’s ‘Watson’ is a female Chinese forensic doctor (Mary Lim), and the first story 'Mud on Her Shoes' hinges on the romance between an English expat and a Malay woman. The second story is the titular 'Hantu Rimau'. The third tale ’Double Knock Out’, heralded as the first depiction of a local boxing match, was shot in Happy World (later renamed Gay World), one of the night-life amusement parks known as the ‘Worlds’. Zaiton comes under the influence of the spell cast by a snake spirit. With her body under possession, she incapacitates her father and is lured to a hypnotised rendezvous with the snake spirit in his harem pit. The spirit takes on an anthropomorphised form and charms Zaiton, convincing her that her fiancée Rahim is a philanderer. Rahim and Zaiton’s father turn to a wise shaman to rescue Zaiton.

Anak Dara

Zaleha, a beautiful young woman gets betrothed to Zaki, her staunch and religious childhood sweetheart in an arranged marriage that seems to be a perfect union since the pair have been infatuated with one another. However, family friend Untung (played by Mat Sentol) desires to take Zaleha as his second wife and conspires with the nosy matchmaker Mak Andam to concoct a scandalous love affair that Zaleha had before marriage. Zaki chances upon the fabricated proof on the wedding night and believes Zaleha to be tainted. He self-righteously insults his newly wedded wife and distances away from her, much to the confusion and annoyance of their families, as Zaki is suspected to be impotent.
