Disaster befalls a village's inhabitants every 300 years. A popular self-styled magician named Naoko (Yukie Nakama) is summoned as a deity to rid the people of their anxiety. But there are many would-be deities there, each posing as a god. When a series of bizarre incidents occur, Naoko is cornered with a genius physicist (Hiroshi Abe) and Detective Yabe (Katsuhisa Namase). Do deities actually exist, or are they charlatans?

Virtual Detective Tabito Higurashi

Higurashi Tabito has lost four out of his five senses--his sense of sound, smell, taste, and touch. The only sense he has is sight, which he relies on for his job as a detective who has to investigate and find various missing objects. He works at the detective agency with Yukiji, his buddy and manager, and Tei, his adopted daughter. No matter what it is, Tabito always finds the missing object. Yamegoku - I Will Quit Yakuza

Nagamitsu Bakushu is a mysterious police officer who mans a hotline within the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Organised Crime Department for breakaway yakuza members. After receiving a phone call, the detective in charge has to make contact with the yakuza, protect him, fix things up with the organised crime group which the yakuza belongs to, and finally place the yakuza in a respectable occupation. Miman City

After a devastating earthquake strikes Makuhara the northern part of Chiba, 18 year-old Yamato, leaves to Makuhara to find his friend Kiichi who lives in the area. On his way Yamato meets Takeru, who is also traveling to Makuhara as a volunteer in the relief effort. However, when the two arrive at Makuhara they are shocked to find that the city, which is under government lock down, is intact and is managed solely by children after a mysterious virus results in the deaths of all the adults. Forced to survive on their own, the child leaders must save the city and also fight the government, which tries to hide the truth.

Mr. Grim Reaper

Detective Gido Kennin (Tanaka Kei) specialises in reinvestigations, and is the most shunned and loathed person at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He carries around a name card with no department written on it and takes pleasure in uncovering cases where the police created false charges. Gido reveals the negligence of the police such as mistakes in initial investigations and cover ups, reconsidering the testimonies and evidence from these cases to discover the real criminals. He hates it if people escape punishment and in order to prevent this from happening, he makes all other sacrifices. It is said that no one will be happy after Gido’s investigations, and this has earned him the nickname “grim reaper”.

Rage, a pimp who only loves money and himself, is sent to jail for 6 months. While he is in the jail, Rage’s partner, Reiji, dies in a traffic accident. Released from prison, Rage finds himself having lost everything but a debt of 6 million dollars. One day, Rage is visited by a lawyer that mistakes him for Reiji. According to the lawyer, Reiji’s father died and left him a large inheritance. Reiji’s only other living relative is his blind sister.
