Nombarathi Poovu

Elizabeth (Sukumari) has just retired as a college sports coach. Heeding to the suggestions from her students, she starts a beauty parlour with her retirement money. Her son Emil (Rahman) and brother Vakkachan (Nedumudi Venu) assist her in this venture. However things don't start out well early, till the arrival of a skilled beautician Mini (Rohini). Business starts booming, but Emil soon starts getting curious about the mysteries surrounding Mini.

The story takes place in a small village surrounded by hills and valleys. Young Pappu, a teenager, awaiting school results to go to college, has plenty of time on hand. His trouble is adolescence, but neither his mother nor his aunt can diagnose his affliction. Everything around him excites and stimulates his sexual curiosity. Twenty plus Rathi, the girl next door, has been chechi (elder sister) to him since he was a child. Unaware of the stirrings of his desire, she dismisses his first overtures to her as boyish pranks. But soon her feelings change. She is sympathetic to the boy's confusion and goes to the sarppakkavu (cobra-shrine) to keep a midnight date with Pappu. It storms and thunders while Pappu makes love to Rathi. Only then do the storms—the one tormenting him inside his mind and the other raging thunderously on the outside, subside. Aghast at what has happened,

The film revolves around the life and revenge of a few villagers against each other.

Viswanathan comes to the city for a job interview, only to find himself entangled in a crisis due to his resemblance with a gangster. Frustrated, he decides to find and face his doppelgänger with the help of a police inspector friend, but finding the imposter proves difficult, and the further they dig, the more mysterious and shocking their findings.

Rappadikalude Gatha is woven around Gatha, a young girl who finds happiness in drugs and music. She marries a doctor of humble indisposition. Their marriage runs into difficulty but, after several traumatic experiences, the couple are reconciled. The film is a sharp indictment of society, its awry priorities, on the frustrations of the youth, their disappointments, and how youngsters get hooked to drugs.

A man leading a happy life with his loving wife and two children suddenly starts getting forgetful and lost. Then, he is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease leaving his family devastated.

Alice is a teacher at a boarding school in Ooty. A prodigal and unruly son of a Member of Parliament Xavier Puthooran, Ravi Puthooran joins the school in Alice's class. Alice manages to mentor him into a good student.

Pavithran is a petty thief who wants to regain his lost image. He asks mill owner Mamachan for a job, but is turned down. However, a robbery in Mamachan's house changes Pavithran's life forever.

The film starts out as a campus story involving four boys, Thomas, Ravi, Alosius and Swami. There is the usual pranks that the boys of the age do, although the movie doesn't just revolve around these.The second half of the movie takes us to scenic locales of Munnar. The second half also introduces the major female character, Molu. The movie centres around the problems faced by them in a hotel in Munnar.

Thinkalaazhcha Nalla Divasam is a 1985 Malayalam drama film written and directed by P. Padmarajan. It stars Mammootty, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Karamana Janardanan Nair and Srividya in pivotal roles. Thinkalazhcha Nalla Divasam movie tells two sons and their families get together to celebrate their mother's 60th birthday in their ancestral house. But problems develop when the younger son (Mammootty) reveals his plan to sell the house for Money and put the mother in an old age home.

Jeevan, a restaurant owner, helps Porinju and Kanthi in a drug deal with a condition that they will give up the trade once the deal is finished. Things change when the meeting goes wrong.

Nakshathrangale Kaaval is a 1978 Indian Malayalam film adaptation of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award-winning novel of the same name by P. Padmarajan. It is directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan and produced by Hari Pothan and stars Jayabharathi, MG Soman, Sukumari and Adoor Bhasi in the lead roles.
