Esthappan and Anto are two fishermen who do not get along well. However, when Esthappan learns that Anto sings and dances well, he requests him to perform in his stage plays.

The story takes place in a small village surrounded by hills and valleys. Young Pappu, a teenager, awaiting school results to go to college, has plenty of time on hand. His trouble is adolescence, but neither his mother nor his aunt can diagnose his affliction. Everything around him excites and stimulates his sexual curiosity. Story of two brothers

Ayyappan, a tabla player of a touring drama group, goes missing. Later on, Sub-Inspector Jacob Eeraly is assigned to investigate the case and finds out disturbing truths.
