The plot of Death Curtain is incredibly interesting. According to the film, communists are about to blow up Istanbul with a secret bomb hidden in a curtain, but Murat Davman saves Turkey from this disaster. In the film, the leader of the communists is a woman named Leyla Sayar, while the leader of the Turkish police is another woman, Muallâ Kaynak. Murat Davman, meanwhile, is busy dealing with the bomb while also managing to keep up with both women thanks to his "little" flirtations.

The film tells the story of a gang leader who helps in the national struggle. Paşa receives gold from foreign powers in order to neutralize the National Forces. Hamza, one of Recep's men, takes advantage of Recep's injury, ties him up, and throws him into the river. He hides the gold and takes over as the leader of the gang. Captain Murat finds Recep in the river and they begin searching for Hamza together. Captain Murat is killed during a clash with Hamza's men. Meanwhile, Recep finds Hamza and takes the gold. He will then set off to transport the gold to Ankara.

Osman kidnaps Elif with a focus on his goal, but things will not go as expected. A naive and sensitive bond will be formed between this extremely cute and innocent girl and Osman.

However, he is admitted to the hospital. Yılmaz will escape from the hospital and attempt to find the killer.

The film deals with the hardships of village life, telling of the cruelty of the village chief towards the villagers. Despite these hardships, it tells of the struggle of the young man nicknamed Yabancı (The Stranger).
