And They Lived Happily Ever After

Manoli and Fernando, a couple of communist ideas, want to live their love freely, fleeing from any bourgeois convention. At first, the couple rejects the help of her parents, but soon they will begin to give in and accept all kinds of comforts.

The Court of the Pharaoh

In the early Spanish Civil Post-war, in Madrid, during the most hard times of the Franco dictatorship, a group of second-rate players try to get out of their wretched lives taking advantage of the artistic caprices of the son of a rich man who supports the regime. They try to stage a Pre-war 'zarzuela' (a sort of Spanish operetta), 'La Corte Del Faraón', which ironically, thirty years later, is too obscene for the regime censorship. They finally manage to perform the 'zarzuela' but end up in the police station where they confirm that justice depends on which side are you on

The Seducer

Cosme, a 15-year-old boy, sets his sights and his libido on his new neighbor, Merche. After giving her a lift on his moped, and getting a glimpse of her underwear, he begins to look for excuses to wander next door. He manufactures illnesses to stay home from school and uses his free time to ogle her while she sunbathes outside. His efforts to sustain a relationship that leads to the bedroom are hampered by his amusing family, sabotaged by the maid, and jealously noted by his high school girlfriend.

Going Down in Morocco

A girl who lives with her dealer cousin and her policeman boyfriend who is a policeman regularly transports drugs from Morocco for her cousin. As all of them smoke grass from time to time there is need for more. Deciding to take a friend of hers who has just left home down to Morocco for a transport she gets problems because it is the first time for her friend and this makes it difficult. But as all are very open-minded there is no problem they would not try to solve.

Natividad Zaro, born at the beginning of the 20th century, was a woman ahead of her time: a performer, playwright, screenwriter and film producer. Friend and collaborator of Lorca, Azorín, Valle Inclán or Forqué, who described her as the Spanish "Modesty Blaise", she produced Furrows (1951), Cannes for Best Film, and Dawn at Dark Door (1957), Extraordinary Jury Prize Berlin Film Festival.

Madrid

Hans, a German director, is in Madrid to film a television production about the capital and the Civil War, 50 years after it occurred. Accompanied by Lucía, his editor, and Goyo, his cinematographer, he films shots of the modern city, searching for spaces and people related to its past. At the same time, he views materials related to the past. In this search, Hans questions the point of his project, and disagrees with his producers until he discovers a project that he is passionate about.

One day, they find a piece of The Daughter of the Captain, a portrait of the crazy soldiers who returned home after losing the Spanish Colonies. In other occasion, they attend one of the limited performances of Valle-Inclán’s:The deceiving Mr. Friolera. They are just longing for the best premiere ever: the Second Spanish Republic, a drama on for a very short time. It was a beautiful dream thought, like the Esperpentos (strange-looking characters) of Valle-Inclán.
