Sonia breaks the perhaps most exciting time of her life, because the 20-year-old moves to Berlin for a mathematics study. Once there, she soon began to build up a new circle of friends, and then she fell in love with the kind, but irresponsible Ladja. There is only one big catch: the dear money is a bit scarce and therefore Sonia one day, financially, but also from curiosity, the path to prostitution. From now on, it leads a brisk double flight, which can fly at any time. Her experiences are ambivalent, as part-time she often gets into difficult situations, but also gets to know nice people, while she enjoys life just as a student. But how long can it maintain the double game?

GDR, January 1990. After his ouster and the fall of the wall, dictator Erich Honecker and his wife Margot find themselves virtually homeless. Only Protestant pastor Uwe Holmer and his family, who, like many others, have suffered under his tyrannical regime, offer them refuge.

The lively damselfish Shorty lives in a colorful coral reef with his beloved little sister Indigo and his best buddy Jake, a high-spirited sawfish. Shorty and Jake want to finally win the annual soccer tournament for the reef cup, when a huge trawl net from a fishing fleet devastates their tropical underwater world in a matter of seconds. The two friends narrowly escape the disaster, but Indigo is initially swallowed up by the seabed. When the three friends are finally reunited, they set off together in search of the mysterious magic reef that the wise octopus Oana told them about.

When Isabelle loses her necklace while walking down the street, the attractive Jimi helps her to fish the pendant out of a gully. Jimi falls in love with Isabelle at first sight and wants something from her in return for his help. For four weeks, he doesn't want to leave the pretty daughter of Simeon Herzog's side. But Isabelle doesn't even think about it and simply leaves Jimi. Even the next day, Jimi cannot forget the fateful encounter and visits Isabelle at the castle hotel. Isabelle only gives in to Jimi's pleas at her father's insistence. Together they organize a fundraising gala and realize that they couldn't be more different.

Olav Hintz, a retired teacher who loves only himself, needs care as he sits in a wheelchair. The nurse, the single parent Trixi has several jobs to complete and gives the care to her 3 children. Chaos is on.

Helen, in her early 50s, really doesn't know which problem she should solve first: her husband seems to be cheating on her, the children are in terrible puberty, things aren't going well with the gardening business, and she herself is going through menopause. When her old mother also has a stroke, the otherwise calm Helen threatens to go crazy.
