Playing rock covers in Ankara pubs for some time, Tamer is now determined to become a respected musician with his own compositions. He leaves everything behind to take lessons from the legendary rock musician Engin Yaman, who's been in seclusion in İzmir. Tamer has to face his desire for success, along with his fears, weaknesses and his haunting dreams. Dr. Sadik Ahmet fights for the democratic rights of the Western Thrace Turkish minority living in Greece. After graduating from Athens University Faculty of Medicine, Ahmet started working as a doctor in Komotini. Ahmet entered the political struggle to defend the rights of the Western Thrace Turkish minority. He became the founding chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board (BTTDK), which was established in 1989. Ahmet was also known internationally for his work on minority rights in Greece. Ahmet, who died in 1995, became a symbol for the Turkish minority in Western Thrace.

Upon the illness of Cevahir's grandmother Hafize; a treasure map passes by the hand of Cevahir who is trying to find enough money for the treatment. Bilal, the enemy of Cevahir, picks up the smell of the incident and takes half of the map and heads for Ayvalik. Cevahir and Ulvi fall together on Ayvalik road. They all find themselves in situations, events, and troubles that they have never expected in a journey of search for treasure and adventure.

Garip Bülbül is about the life story of the great bard Neşet Ertaş. Neşet Ertaş, who signed 400 records and many cassettes throughout his life, wrote many poems under the pen name "Garip". The film tells the unknowns about both the private and career life of Neşet Ertaş, who passed away in 2012.
