Having worked as a housekeeper all her life, Justina inherits from her former employer a mansion in the middle of the Argentinian pampas. Under one condition: she must never leave. In this modern fairy tale, Justina and her daughter Alexia will face the challenges of keeping that promise alive.

Alejandro, the youngest of his recently deceased father's two sons, is brimming with anger, upset that his father and older brother have for so long committed his mother to a rural Colombian mental asylum. He's convinced that the place for his schizophrenic mother is at home with her loved ones, not in an institution. While on an unannounced visit, he kidnaps his mother to take her home with him once and for all – but Alejandro is soon overwhelmed by his mother's mental incapacities as they embark on a journey of love and commitment, of emotional and physical extremes.

He has the company of Misael Saavedra, and yet instead of looking back (or making a tribute to his actors, because that was the subject in Fantasma) this movie seeks to be a prologue for his next one.

Mother and daughter Silvia et Andrea are also ufologists. They run a UFO research group together and stand guard, chasing the lights that appear mysteriously over the Paraná river. Joyously adopting the genre of (science-)fiction, Maximiliano Schonfeld uses humour and affection to paint the poetic portrait of a community.

Three intertwining stories that take place in La Salada — the largest unregulated market in Buenos Aires: a Korean father prepares his daughter for an arranged marriage, a young Bolivian man searches for work, and a Taiwanese DVD seller tries to woo a young woman to be his girlfriend.
