How do the interhouse trips sound?

An incomplete travel (and sound) chronicle; a place occupied by maps and globes; a recollection of memories instead of the repetition of an imprecise image. In the spaces that remain between these surfaces, Recording Rituals intends to meditate on the relationship between landscape and archive in the construction of imaginary communities and material memory.

The bewildered farmers yield to Alejandra’s interventions: she dons Heribertos’ dead wife’s clothes, accompanies Benigno to a greyhound race and wins young Lucas’ friendship. Shortly afterwards, the frost disappears.

Every year, for one week, more than 150 trombonists come from different countries to meet in Santa Fe, a small city on the banks of the Paraná River, where they participate in collective courses and individual classes, and perform and listen to music.
