Shingo Okazaki is a young man devoted to his mother to a degree that's rare in Japan. He's a young fellow who treats his mother with respect, but his tendency to overdo it makes his filial devotion look more like a little fault to those around him. Then, a young woman falls in love with him. She finds it very admirable that he takes such good care of his mother, but is also a bit confused by this fellow who seems to care more for his mother than for his girlfriend.

Ghost Shout

On May 2, 1998, Hide, a leading Japanese rock musician who had been active as a guitarist for X JAPAN and as a solo artist (hide with Spread Beaver/zilch), suddenly passed away. His funeral was attended by about 50,000 people and became a social phenomenon as all of Japan wept at his untimely farewell. His younger brother, Hiroshi Matsumoto, who was Hide's manager, started to work with Hide's co-producer I.N.A., who had been working on a song with Hide, and his friends to make his brother's will come true. Yuji and I.N.A. struggle under the unusual circumstance that Hide himself is not present, but they are confronted with various difficulties.

The 35-Year Promise

Due to his impoverished upbringing Nishihata Tamotsu is unable to read or write. Fortunately he is supported by his beloved wife Kyouko who helps him with the things he cannot do alone. Asuka High School March!

The place is filled with a group of quirky characters, led by Majime Mitsuya (Noda Yojiro), a boss with a shaggy hair who is extremely serious. While being tossed about by them, Midori is influenced by their patience and passion for making a dictionary which takes over a decade, and she gradually immerses herself in the work. This drama depicts their struggles in creating and finalizing the dictionary, "The Great Passage."
