This summer, Jérémie is determined to mojo back! Haunted by a painful secret, the young woman finds refuge in a new job at the Domaine du Lac beach along with five lifeguards: Raphaëlle, Camille, Olivier, Thomas and Maxim. What better way to forget your troubles than partying in the sun?

We spend an average of five years of our lives waiting in line… what do we do with all of this time? The dramady follows two multigenerational families waiting in line… just like us, they might feel all too alone in these forced and confined moments.

Detective Surprenant, a veteran of major crimes in Montreal who took refuge in the Magdalen Islands, investigates the murder of a teenage girl with the help of his colleague Geneviève Savoie and inexperienced police officers, even giving up his vacation to resolve this sad story. However, he must deal with the arrogant chief inspector Sébastien Gingras, dispatched from Quebec City and with whom he has disagreements.

Raphaëlle Bayard's daily life is turned upside down when her partner and their son both suddenly disappear. What follows is a breathless quest to find them, to understand what really happened, to decipher their motives, and to deal with the many public consequences of this private tragedy to which no one is immune. This is therefore the story of what we would do to find our loved ones when we realize that they have now adopted beliefs, values and lifestyles that run totally counter to our own.

Fusing documentary and acting by Marie Tifo, whom we follow as she rehearses for this demanding role, the film paints an astonishing portrait of this mystic who abandoned her son and left France to build a convent in Canada, where she became the first female writer in New France.
