As punishment, the devil Matěj must grant the wishes of a poor young man named Ondra until he says he is completely happy. But can such happiness even be achieved? Hell has its doubts about this, and it seems that they are justified, as the other devils are well entertained by Matěj's helplessness. After fulfilling ordinary wishes, when Ondra finally warms up, eats well, and gets dressed, more serious complications arise. Ondra falls in love with Rézinka, a countess from the castle, and to make matters worse, the devil Matěj takes a liking to the cook Marjánka.

The new owner Štěpán arrives at the castle at the foot of the Krkonoš Mountains with his fiancée, the beautiful countess Blanka, and his younger brother Adam. There is another new visitor in the mountain town, the ethnographer Jiráček, who collects local legends and is amazed that the local people still believe in Krakonoš. Four episodes reveal criminal background of organized crime in post-revolution Czechoslovakia. Who can you trust yet? Czechoslovakia in 1992 - communist regime has fallen short time ago and soviet occupying army is quickly retreating back to eastern Europe. Wagons leaving the country are full of weapons, ammunition and equipment. Two young students testing new railway control system find out, that some of soviet wagons disappear on their way home. They try to find out the reason, but one of them is found dead and second way is probably on the run. Senior warrant officer Roman Redl with team of investigators is trying to reveal reason for murder and trace the criminal ties, that could leaves east from Czechoslovakia.

Partička is an improvisation show of Prima TV, based on the Slovak version of the same name. The entire program is based on the improvisation of four actors in different games. As in the Slovak version, Daniel Dangl accompanies the show, and Marián Čurko is the music.
