Sword of Vengeance

A story inspired by the largest single rescue mission of downed Allied airmen behind enemy lines in aviation history of all time, codenamed “The Halyard Mission”. This action took place in the summer of 1944. It was led by the Yugoslav Army in the Fatherland that was headed by General Dragoljub “Draža” Mihailović. It was at great cost and sacrifice that the Serbian people saved 508 American and other Allied countries’ airmen from certain death, sending them off to safety from the improvised airfield in the Serbian village of Pranjani, at the foot of Mt Suvobor.

In a post-apocalyptic world, Jovan embarks on a dangerous quest to find his sister, kidnapped by a traitor named The Foreigner, who betrayed their village. Along the way, he meets Anđelija, a fierce and mysterious young woman who captures his heart. Guided by her, Jovan battles ruthless enemies with an ancient sword, cutting his way to The City.

Mundir is a loan shark in a small Serbian town, a former boxer with diabetes. He is old school, he realizes the times have changed, and that money lending business is not what it used to be.

After a horrible massacre in a village where twelve people lost their lives, the killer shoots himself in the head, but with a strange combination of circumstances, he still remains alive. Petar, a BIA operative, is trying to figure out what actually happened because the killer, before he shot himself, uttered the word "katabaza", the same one that his late son said before he committed suicide. The psychologist Natasha helps him in that, who, unlike Petra, rationalizes the whole case, and does not think that there is anything mysterious in it.

In a distant future following a nuclear catastrophe, the West Balkans have become a lawless wasteland where the most valuable currency is the bullet. A mysterious blind fiddler wanders the ruins, singing the legend of the "Grain People"—a peaceful community of wheat-growers who refuse to submit to a distant city's tyranny. When a young warrior’s family is slaughtered by a deranged warlord, he embarks on a bloody quest for vengeance. Armed only with a blade and a motorcycle, he must navigate radioactive cults and hallucinations to protect the last remnants of civilization.
