Trouble arises in the lives of a happy couple after she gets sold to Jonardhan, a guy with evil intentions, and he is framed in a case of theft and sent to jail.

Fuleshwari, a beautiful young woman, falls in love with Brindaban, a simpleton who arrives in her village. She plans to marry him but is hesitant when she learns that he is involved in a crime.

An aged widow from a village moves to Calcutta to stay with relatives, but faces only exploitation. She moves to a slum, and finds her "own people" in a group of educated, unemployed youth, who are caught up inexorably in the prevalent political violence.

The film features the characters from Satyajit Ray's Aranyer Din Ratri, returning to the forest over thirty years later. Ashim, Sanjoy, Harinath and Aparna have grown old in this film; Shekhar has died. They set out on a journey to break off every link with civilisation for a few days. However, the trip turns sour when Ashim and Aparna's daughter, Amrita, goes missing. It transpires that she is being held for ransom by local tribespeople. Police intervene and the kidnapped girl is returned to her parents, albeit against her own wishes.

A film directed by Chitta Basu. Mithu Mukherjee made her film debut in Sesh Parba.

A well-to-do married couple keeps bickering over minor issues though the pair love each other. With time, their love gets tested but they keep yearning for each other.

The Letter.

Four friends from Calcutta who have very different personalities make a holiday excursion into the country, to a tiny village in the state of Bihar where they set themselves up in a bungalow. A series of minor events, all connected to their respective reactions to their new environment, reveals their characters more deeply.

A British administrator with a flair for game hunting develops a friendship with a commoner who is an expert archer in an Indian village. The movie portrays the relationship between the British colonialists, and native villagers who were exploited by Indian landlords in 1920s India. This happens against the backdrop of the awakening of the Indian people against the British rule.

A wealthy industrialist, despite his wealth, drinks alone at night. His wife, deprived of love, meets a past love interest, leading to unfortunate events.

Despite being married, king Rajshekhar Ray falls in love with sexy dancer Aparna, who loves Raghubir. However, things take a turn when he kills Raghubir.

A teenage girl will not accept her family's attempt to arrange a marriage for her, as her heart is currently too full of love for the movies and heartthrob actor "Dharmendra."
