Rohit, a Gujarati, studies the life of Anthony Firengee, and in the process meets with a mysterious man Kushawl Hajra.

After being accused wrongly of theft, a slightly addled servant runs away to the city, carrying as his only real possession an axe, which he claims to have killed a tiger with. He takes up life among India's throngs of city-dwelling homeless, and for a little while almost has a decent time of it. He has a girlfriend, and one good friend, and gets by through begging and doing odd jobs.

As a result, she started to stay at Raja’s house. In such a situation, Mr. Mallik came to Kolkata and asked for help from Raja. This complex situation really confused him and later Raja decided to help Anuradha. At the same time, Mr. Mallik requested a notorious criminal Rohanlal to find Anuradha. Just to save Anuradha Raja put her at his grandmother’s house in Tarakeshwar. Later Anuradha felt that she had a soft corner for Raja. Therefore, without hesitation, she decided to come back to Raja’s place and fixed him as his life partner.

Deep Narayan, a wealthy and noble man, is killed by his greedy brother Anugraha, who seeks to inherit his property if Deep dies childless. Unaware that Deep's wife, Shree, is pregnant, Anugraha proceeds with his plan. Before dying, Deep confides in his manager Chandrakanta, who vows to protect Shree. Shree gives birth to a son, Pradip, who grows up to take charge of the family business and falls in love with Shikha. When Shikha learns she's adopted, Pradip also discovers he isn’t Shree’s son. It's revealed that Chandrakanta had switched the babies, and Shikha is Shree’s daughter, while Pradip is the son of Deep’s employee, Mr. Sridhar. In a selfless act, Sridhar dies while saving Pradip during a rescue in the coal mines.
