Don’t Bury Me Without Ivan

Yakutia in the 1960s. A boy named Vanya returns home after spending six years in hospitals following a spinal injury. However, the happiness of his reunited family is short-lived: his mother dies in childbirth. To comfort the children, their father tells them about a distant, magical land where Siberian cranes dance, explaining that their mother has transformed into one of those beautiful and sacred birds. From that moment, Vanya dreams of witnessing the rare dance of Siberian cranes and meeting his mother, reborn as a bird.

Having quarreled with his father Altan goes to work in the North. He will have to spend a month alone on a deserted island. But soon a neighbor appears. He is old Baibal who has come to the island to spend the last days of his life there. He asks Altan to bury him next to his wife. But the guy finds out that long ago the old man’s daughter went missing. He talks the old man into publishing an entertainment blog to find his daughter and put of the man’s death. Every day Altan does his best to stimulate the old man to live another beautiful day.

In a yurt on the snow-covered fields of the North, Nanook and Sedna live following the traditions of their ancestors. Alone in the wilderness, they look like the last people on Earth. When Sedna's health deteriorates, Nanook decides to fulfill her wish. He embarks on a long journey in order to find Ága.

Taptal is the name of the main character, a middle-aged woman played by Tatyana Legantieva. She lives in a village with her parents and her brother's family. That same evening, she hears a horoscope that says she needs to act right now! And then she sees an ad for the reality show "The Bachelor" on NVK "Sakha". Love decides to go to Yakutsk and find her soulmate on the reality show. She is not stopped even by the fact that her vacation was suddenly cancelled...

Yakutia, the 1930s. Old Mikipper and his wife Oppuos live their days in thick taiga. Cows, hunting, fishing make up the simple everyday life of the old people. Once early in the winter an eagle flies into their garden. The old people dare no drive it away because eagles are sacred. All through the winter they feed the bird so that it does no attack their cattle. Gradually they grow accustomed to each other. On a cold Christmas day the eagle makes its way into the house and occupies the honorary place in the corner on the shelf next to the icons. From then on the people and the bird start their life together in one house.

A young family with a baby is visiting elderly parents living in a remote northern village. Suddenly, their child becomes sick with dysentery. There is no necessary medicine in the village, the telephone line was cut off, and the roads were washed out due to the spring flood. The young father Vanya decides to get to the regional center on his own in order to call a Sunrise to the village. But the road ahead is long and dangerous.

Sardaana arrives at a village for work as a teacher. She meets a photographer Nyurgun, and he invites her to look at the museum full of spooky items. When Nyurgun is absent, Sardaana falls under the influence of the call of an ancient harp in a locked box. Not realizing what she's doing, Sardaana begins to play the harp. A drama unfolds in the endless snow-covered expanses of Yakutia. The elderly man Khaby, together with two companions, must give the young Kiluk as a bride to the old prince. Taken from her parents' yurt in exchange for a rich dowry, she dreams of escaping home, but Khabyi is harsh and unforgiving. Only young Nykus tries to alleviate her difficult situation. During the journey, feelings develop between them. During the long and difficult journey, Khabiy begins to feel a growing threat. Nykus, driven by feelings for Kiluk, is ready to take extreme measures. Fate leads them to a long-abandoned hut that holds a secret from Khabiy's past.
