The Enchantress

An abstract tale of a society that exploits everyone and everything. A closed societal system is run by a class of rulers composed of priests, elders, politicians, bankers, and military men. All these people prostitute themselves in order to exercise power with the same ease that they drink their coffee.

May 1895. Our story begins when the family of George Pavlides engages their 12-year-old son, Miltos, with the 9-year-old daughter of Michalis Nikolaidis, Ifigenia. The attacks of fanatical Turks will force the two families to flee their homeland. The two youngsters will meet again in Istanbul 11 years later. Unaware of the family relationship that binds them, they instantly fall in love. The two lovers try to live their love, while being dragged by the whirlwind of historical events of the time.

Two years after the establishment of the junta of the colonels, a resistance fighter leaves for Sweden. After 14 years of exile, the return to Greece is painful. His girlfriend has been married, while his friends have completely changed.

The story tells the story of 50-year-old Skeva. When she learns that her son, who has barricaded himself in order to raise money to propose to his beloved Rinio, is ill, Skevo disguises himself as a man and becomes a guard in the sports (ships that were in quarantine due to cholera) in order to save him.

A crime drama with six independent stories. A selected group of General Police officers undertakes the resolution of important cases of special interest, addressing problems that concern today's Greek society. The main characters often move in between “black" and "white" and fall prey to their passions, in a complex situation where victims and perpetrators face circumstances above their limits.

A surreal, anarchic and plotless movie about a man who tries to take up his dead father's business, taking aim against contemporary Greek reality. Banned by the Greek dictatorship.

Who can forget the sore look of the gypsy. The mismatched love of a young architect with great ambitions and a beautiful gypsy just under twenty. A love that from birth carries, almost insurmountable obstacles, as it comes in complete contrast both with the "properly" environment of Antonis and with the marginal, but tightly closed to its own rules, world of Erato.

The mother's deep love for her exiled son, Giorgis, and her pain and despair over the inexplicable murder of her other son, Christakis, are vividly depicted in Georgios Vizyenou's short story. The return of the exiled son somewhat sweetens her pain, but does not cure her grief. She therefore exhorts Giorgis and her other son, Michael, to search for their brother's murderer and not to leave him unavenged. Of course, she is unaware of who her son's murderer is and searches for him anxiously, at the same time that her Turkish protege, Kiamil, whom she had nursed as her own child, after a dramatic adventure, is also unaware that he is the one who, unwittingly, has killed his benefactor's son. A shocking revelation, which when it comes to light, has tragic consequences...
