A sad film about the loneliness and unattachedness of a young boy and an elderly man living next door to each other. And only in the final scene of the film do the old man and the young man meet in the half-empty hall of the movie theater, where the young man is laughing to tears over the film, not noticing that the elderly man sitting next to him has died...
