Let's Shoot Ridiculously

After twelve years of school - twelve years of a strict, regimented life-style - high school graduation can be a very scary moment. It's a time when a student suddenly realizes everything is about to change. And many are not ready for the drastic fluctuation in their lives. This film concentrates on traumas facing two different graduates. Hideo and his friends always hang out at The Joint, a sand-wich/soda shop near the school. Just prior to graduation, the place is closed up. This gives an unsettling message to the kids who are already queasy over their own future. They react badly by going to school and raping their homeroom teacher. Meanwhile, Ichiro, who failed the University Entrance Exam, has barricaded himself - along with girlfriend Ranko - in a hotel with a rifle.

A woman suffers from a rare form of temporary amnesia, lasting for a day. Her shy colleague, who is secretly in love with her, tells her that they are a couple in order to experience being with her for just one day.

Goro (Tetsuya Watari) wants to put his dark past behind. He heads to Hirosaki City to offer his condolences to Yumeko and to reunite with Yukiko (Chieko Matsubara), but finds that Yumeko is fatally ill. Although Yukiko was taking care of her, she is pressed for money. Goro wants to help and knows that there is only one way to come up with fast money.

After five years of service as a cop in San Francisco, Shunsaku Kudo becomes a private detective in Tokyo.

A high school student rallies his classmates into rebelling violently when the administration refuses to take responsibility for the suicide of one of the students.

Takamiya Susumu is a salary man. He who works in audit division of an insurance company. His job has him traveling all over the country on one-day business trips via the Shinkansen train. When he visits an area on his business trips, he likes to find delicious food nearby and gets it to go. On his return, via the Shinkansen train, he eats the meals that he bought. The train becomes like an izakaya to him, a place to relax with good food and drinks.
