This documentary also offers us Kurtini’s (Anggun’s mother) views on her child’s sexual orientation and transgenderism in general. This story challenges Indonesian society to offer a greater social acceptance of LGBT people.

After going away for eight years, Anggun decides to return home to seek acceptance from her father in her hometown, Jambi.
