A documentary about Anggun Pradesha’s personal experience of being a waria (a male-to-female transgendered person) in Indonesia. This documentary also offers us Kurtini’s (Anggun’s mother) views on her child’s sexual orientation and transgenderism in general. This story challenges Indonesian society to offer a greater social acceptance of LGBT people.

A deep conversation between Anggun, a transgender woman, and her mom about family & social acceptance and its relation to the plan of the governtment to criminalize LGBTIQ by revising Indonesia Penal Code.

After going away for eight years, Anggun decides to return home to seek acceptance from her father in her hometown, Jambi.
