Potted Palm Trees

Rosa Friedrich was never that interested in porn, until her friend Timo expresses a wish to star in an erotic film. So she agrees to help him get his project off the ground. However, the closer it gets to the shooting date, the more Timo feels embarrassed and doubtful about being involved in the first place. His face is ultimately replaced with the help of AI, and Rosa, together with a dominatrix, three trans women, a food-porn creator, a sex coach and other protagonists, continues with the film.

A gigantic catastrophe has happened and is interrupted for two or three days. Three strangers find themselves stranded on an empty island, between desperation and a hopeless situation. What to do with the remaining time? But on the second day the sea delivers a silent man. The three survivors fall in love with the assumed saviour and forget about the catastrophe.

BUSCHOW is the story about a relationship. It's an ideal relationship, that's shit. Two people in their mid-twenties are on vacation in a summer cottage in the woods. They don't understand each other's feelings, so they try to speak, about models of loving, about themselves, about love. Yet their different languages don't really allow them to meet, it's only through play that they can come together. Garden, house, and forest are the playground for their fairytale.
