Moscow, 1986, the heat of Perestroika. Borya is an average clumsy teenager who is miraculously admitted to the legendary Bolshoi Ballet School. The boy is convinced that he will become a ballet dancer like his father, Mikhail Baryshnikov. But is this father real or imaginary?

How to become a star? Thorny path to Olympus. Young Zoya Misochkina in the backyard of the provincial town "Lokotki" meets two producers, Pridorozhnyy and Bolotov, from whom the prima donna Irma has just fled. Zoya passionately wants to sing, so she joins in with new acquaintances and finds herself in a large apartment with two seemingly serious gentlemen, and with close acquaintance, half-crazy touching clowns. Zoya's life turns upside down. Vocal lessons, beauty salons, gyms, presentations, all this should turn an unknown nondescript girl into a new pop star.

A young and determined d'Artagnan goes to Paris to pursue a career as a musketeer in the Royal Regiment. There he meets Athos, Portos and Aramis, with whom he later forms a warm friendship. Captain of the Women's Regiment De Treville, of course, in such an environment weaves intrigue and gossip. In the French capital d'Artagnan finds his first love, Constance Bonassier. Queen Anne of Austria constantly presses King Louis XIII of France to lead a healthy lifestyle, forcing himto do one or another sport. The King, being of a poetic nature who prefers a bohemian way of life, opposes this in every possible way. The Queen then embarks on an affair with Lord Buckingham. The main enemy of all the heroes is the insidious Cardinal Madame Richelieu.

A large metallurgical company, where Muscovite Roman Mukhin works, takes care of an orphanage in Khanty-Mansiysk. The company's management recommends that Roman take a child from this shelter into his care. Elena, Roman's wife, is not against it - she thinks that another child (the couple has an older son, Oleg) will strengthen their marriage. The choice falls on 11-year-old Marta Chemesova. Marta does not want to leave Khanty-Mansiysk, because her grandmother lives there, who loves her granddaughter very much, but, realizing that she herself is no longer able to take care of her, she gives the go-ahead for guardianship. Marta moves to Moscow. At first, all the participants in the story are full of enthusiasm, however, despite a joint trip to India, where Marta always dreamed of going, becoming a real family turns out to be more difficult than Elena and Roman could have imagined...
