Futa (Watanabe Shu) relocates from the city to the countryside and is being hassled for loan payments for the farmland and house that he bought. His partner Minori (Goriki Ayame) sees what is going on and pulls out a mysterious ring to use for the repayments. But from there, the two get pulled into a world where fantasy and reality are blurred. Shinpei first meets Kasumi at a movie theatre, in a certain way an impressive encounter as he wrongly sits in her seat. The path of the two cross again as Kasumi later becomes Shinpei’s co-worker at a restaurant. One night, Shinpei finds Kasumi acting suspiciously in front of a building. She is stalking her boyfriend, whom she suspects cheated on her. Knowing the secret, Shinpei is asked to lend a hand in the infidelity investigation. Their nights then turn into a detective game and Shinpei finds himself drawn to the charm of Kasumi...

The story is set in Abashiri, Hokkaido, and follows a high school student, Nagi, who transferred from Osaka.

Osamu Asaku, who lives a stressful and uninteresting life, heads to the wedding of his ex-girlfriend but he feels intimidated and turns back on the verge. All the while, between experiences with her clients and life lessons from her laidback boss Teramura, her experiences begin to heal her heart while her wholsomeness rubs off on them.

Kaede, Ryota, Mana, Asahi, Haruka, Soshi, and Tatsumi were friends in high school. When they turned 22 years old, the six of them get together to visit their alma mater. They stop by the library and find a book on séance techniques, and then begin to perform "Kagome" necromancy. Kaede, who is the least enthusiastic, has a secret between her and Tatsumi, who died before graduation.
