In The Yellow Devil's Grip

A popular silent action-adventure film in 8 episodes released from 1914-1916. Directed by Aleksandr Chargonin et al., the series is only partially preserved.

Engineer Dukalsky arrives from Moscow on the instructions of an underground anti-Soviet center to the Baltic Shipyard in order to take possession of the blueprints of a powerful ship engine. The pest meets the author of the project - a young and incorruptible self-taught master Ivanov. After a series of unsuccessful attempts to buy out or steal the drawings from the author, Dukalsky decides to take Ivanov with him. Criminal Investigation Officers will attack the trail of criminals.

The First World War, the Russian-Austrian front in March 1917. Hungarian soldier Janos becomes acquainted with Bolshevik ideas and helps a Russian prisoner of war escape.

Adaptation of book by Boris Lavrenyov about the work of the underground fighters in a Ukrainian town occupied by the White army in 1919. Lost.
