The film Rolex Time was made especially for the exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Luzern. The title creates a tongue-in-cheek link between Uganda and Switzerland: "Rolex" is also an abbreviation of "rolled eggs" and refers to a well-known Ugandan street food dish-an omelette wrapped in a chapati. In the film, the dish is called "commando food" meaning the food of the people in the slums. The film is about, among other things, criminals who grew up as street children, and a Swiss tourist who walks straight into their clutches.

As events escalate to involve Uganda’s First Lady, the response from the president and military draws a contemporary society into confrontation with the spirit of one of its ancestors.

A first-of-its-kind cinematic collaboration between Israel and Uganda. The son of the Prime Minister of Israel is in danger of becoming a victim in a mysterious ceremony of the Ugandan Tiger Mafia, which specializes in kung-fu and black magic. In order to rescue him, the State of Israel sends a pair of special commando fighters to Uganda, whose partnership was broken up by a bitter conflict in the past. If the commando fighters do not succeed in overcoming the hardships of their past, the fate of the Jewish and Ugandan people will be sealed forever.

In the ghettos of Kampala, a violent crime is retold through conflicting testimonies. This Ugandan remake of Kurosawa's "Rashomon" blends Wakaliwood action cinema with philosophical inquiry into truth and memory.
