Canadian scientist, Dr Geoff Burton takes up a position at a new institute in wintry Dresden in order to contribute to their most important project—a human regeneration gene—that also has the potential to make something miraculous out of a personal tragedy that has haunted him for years.

A girl spends her life exclusively in her digitized apartment, her sole contact with the outside world is by online chat. That is, until a power cut forces her to switch to traditional forms of communication.

To unburden himself from his feeling of guilt, scientist "P" transfers a traumatic memory to an android robot girl. Meanwhile the Robot starts to remember Details of P’s life, that P has already forgotten. A surreal stream of consciousness that contains memories, conversations and the most important question of all.
