Between 1976 and 1982 thousands of citizens were kidnapped, tortured and killed in Argentina. How do Argentinians cope with this tragedy? How do they elaborate their recent past?

Jose is an elderly rebel who, after being refused a withdrawal at a bank, returns with a gun and threatens to shoot himself if he doesn't get his cash. Pedro, a young teller, is disillusioned with his life and sees Jose's stunt as a way out when he pretends to be taken hostage, leaving the bank with the old man and a hefty amount of money. The unlikely duo become friends, picking up tough-girl Ana along the way, while avoiding the police.

In a city of the too near future, a city designated for desolation, aggression, and political instability, Miguel Galvan (Hugo Soto) is shot accidentally during a demonstration. This time and space provides a back drop to an intriguing sequence of events where three characters try desperately to survive: the wounded Miguel, an antagonistic policeman (Juan Leyrado), and a foolish vigilante smartly acted by cult rock star Charly Garcia of Sui Generis and Serú Girán fame, who also composed the film's score.

Two rival families of different origin join the force by the love of two young. The journalist Ariel Cohen falls in love for Carla Rosi, while investigating his father, Giancarlo, a wealthy shady business that is congressional candidate with presidential aspirations.
