Three social outcasts who live near the seaside interact with each other in increasingly disturbing ways. The trio of characters are a woman who has killed her sister, a man who enjoys necrophilia, and a female amnesiac. The first woman engages in sadistic pursuits such as capturing young women at the beach to force them to engage in sexual activities, including copulation with a horse and a dog.

Seventeen-year-old Misaki endures a life marred by tragedy and abuse. Abandoned by her mother and forced to care for her bedridden sister, her home life becomes a battlefield of psychological terror, dominated by a father whose actions cross into the realm of the unthinkable. At school, Misaki finds no solace as her closest friend succumbs to the allure of degradation for material gain. The culmination of her suffering arrives through a series of brutal assaults, each encounter dragging her further into a vortex of despair, with only a mentally ill homeless woman offering a semblance of maternal comfort.

What kind of secret could have caused him to commit such a murder? Or did he?

The film's narrative is in an allegorical and disjointed manner with references to Buddhist concepts.

Many years ago, her father sold her to a brothel due to the family's severe financial hardships. The writer and the woman then agree to live as husband and wife until the war ends. The woman doesn't feel sexual pleasures due to her past, while the man lusts for the woman's body. Meanwhile, Ohira (Jun Murakami) fought for Japan in China. He participated in unconscionable acts against civilians in the name of war. He returns to Japan with only one arm. Ohira then begins to prey on innocent women.

A former Self-Defense Force officer who returns to his hometown with his comrades to fight for his life. A woman who comes to trace the trail of her husband, who has been missing for seven years. A woman who wants something stimulating in her boring village. A man and his daughter who left his wife without giving a reason and drifted to a fishing village in the north to live in seclusion. The lives of these five people intersect for a moment and are eventually dismantled again.

Tomoko and Naomi have had a lesbian relationship since their high school days. They meet again a few years later, and this film depicts the course of their love. Tomoko's strong obsession with Naomi and her intense sexual desire excite the audience. The beauty of the last scene is a must-see!
