A young man arrives at the Grand Hotel, an ideal place in the middle of the wilderness to investigate his sister's disappearance. In the 1990s, an unscrupulous builder, who has amassed a large fortune with agricultural companies, goes into business on the Spanish coast. After the death of his brother, he creates a large business and urban development network that makes him the most powerful man in Misent, an imaginary city in the Spanish Levant.

A man is in his flat and he has a leak on his ceiling, suddenly the ceiling caves in and a dead man falls through unsure of what to do he tries to take the man out of his flat but at that moment the ceiling really starts to leak, but its not water coming through...

The disastrous meltdown of a nuclear power plant in Northern Spain created a contaminated no-go zone and left the nearby provincial city and inhabitants in a state of shock and mourning. Three years later, while the city prepares for the commemoration ceremony, a mutilated body is found in a warehouse. Police inspector Hector Uria's search for the murderer takes him deep into the no-go zone and into his own past.
