Janaína is an 18-year-old girl who lives with her mother and grandmother in a housing complex on the outskirts of Recife. She is the first person in her family to obtain a university degree, but an unwanted pregnancy threatens the plans she had made for her life.

A quasi-musical approach on contemporary urban life that reflects Brazilian society and many others throughout the world, this documentary describes at the same time a place, a city and a country. The real place, a neighborhood in Recife, encompasses all of the Brazilian way of life, highlighting a reality that is before us but often goes unnoticed

HOLY TREMOR focuses on a young generation of priests, producers and singers who hail from a rural area and make gospel music. Wagner and de Burca take into account the environment of the protagonists in order to make ethics, morality and life visible in an aesthetic agglomeration.
