Gilded Lies

While working as a hairdresser in an Istanbul suburb, Aydan finds herself the owner of a luxury beauty salon. Her shadowy new boss is Emir, a mysterious businessman about whom no one knows anything. As Aydan struggles to adapt to Emir's world, she's also forced to contend with the troubles caused by her reluctant partner, Çiğdem, a vagrant who grew up in an orphanage. Efe, the reckless police officer who follows Emir, inevitably crosses paths with Çiğdem and the hairdresser. Amidst all this chaos, Aydan seeks solace in her dear friend, manicurist Fiko, while her ex-husband, talented hairdresser Tarık, who can't stomach Aydan's new world of luxury, finds himself facing a new problem every day.

Black Crow

Sara is a famous Iranian actress lives in France for years. She lost her contact with her family she left in Iran, when she immigrated to France at 17. One night when she comes home she receives a letter form her father calling her to Iran. As her entrance to her country is prohibited because of the obscene scenes she took part in, she takes illegal ways to arrive her village in Iran. A dangerous long journey full of patience; she will travel on the garrons through the foggy and snowy mountains, starts for her. Accompanied by the smugglers and a group of Turkish guides, will she be able to arrive her village to discover the mystery of her father's letter?

At the Bar

A group of drug-influenced lumpen teenagers from the suburbs of the city descends into the center where they do not belong, where they are excluded. They adopted a brutal method to seize rights that were not granted to them. Unaware of what will happen to them, cheerful and well-to-do university students are helpless in the face of this gun-wielding mob that suddenly raids the bar where they are having fun.

Asuman is a fortune-teller with uncanny psychic powers who lives in the suburbs of Istanbul but tells fortunes of the rich at their own luxurious places.

Ara

Ara is the story of four people and an empty house. These people are stuck between their past and stormy relationships, between Istanbul and the "homes" they can't get back, between their innermost secrets and the lies they tell, between east and west. They are stuck in the "space between". The whole action takes place in an almost empty flat which is belong to one of the characters. The camera goes out only once. But various other visuals from commercials, TV series' that has been shot in the same flat, sneak into the film. Spanning around 10 years, the story is told between intervals of these visuals. Turkey has been through a huge change in the last 20-30 years. The modest country of the recent past is a faded memory compared to the consumerist life style of modern day. It is the time of ambitious people who can do anything to "live well", to "break through". This is the story of a small group of people who manage to "live well" but can't help getting lost in a spiritual vacuum.
