The film is about an arrogant and bold spinster, in her late thirties, whose life turns into a meaningful one with the arrival of an ex-army-man in the neighbourhood.

Bapputty is released after serving his sentence in prison. Though he tries to make a new beginning, he soon gets caught up in his sister's family affairs.

Sreedharan is a kind-hearted lorry driver who helps people in times of need. However, his life becomes hell when his beloved friend tries to interfere in his personal matters.

Story of two brothers

The film revolves around a middle class Malayalee family. Problems arise when the eldest son alienates his father and gets thrown out of home. The film portrays the other members struggling between the two.

Thomaskutty who hails from a conservative Christian family gets married to a typical Tamil Brahmin girl, Saraswathy. They are left alone by their respective families for this reason. But both the families unite when a baby girl is born to the couples. The later part of the film deals with the problems faced by Thomaskutty and Saraswathy when their families start fighting even on petty issues.

Chandradas, a renowned poet, accidentally meets his estranged teenage daughter, Harita. After great effort, he is able to take his daughter to his ancestral home. But Harita's past haunts her.

Sethu aspires to become a police officer to fulfil his father's dream. However, his life turns upside down when he intervenes in a scuffle with a criminal to save his father's life.

The story follows Abdullah (Mohanlal) who is hired by the members of a wealthy royal family to assassinate the family head Maharaja Udayavarma (Nedumudi Venu). Abdullah comes into the royal palace under the disguise Ananthan Namboothiri, a classical singer, and tries to use this mask to softly kill the Maharaja.

Udayabhanu is an assistant director and scriptwriter, who dreams of making it big in the film industry. His attempt is thwarted by his roommate, a junior artiste, Rajappan Thengamoodu who steals his script to become superstar Saroj Kumar

However, his wife Sumangala (Parvathi) commits suicide, causing him to turn into an alcoholic and a compulsive rule breaker. He is suspected of having killed his wife and is suspended from his job for drunken misbehaviour. The new secretary of the institute Velayudhan (Nedumudi Venu) wants him to be sacked but his former reputation gives him a reprieve. He trains the talented student Malavika (Monisha) to perform in his ambitious composition of the Sita Kalyanam, but her jealous young lover Soman (Vineeth) poisons him.
