Bobby Guibert and Pat Duvallon are the best of friends. They are also big party animals. Honorine, Bobby's aunt, is outraged by her nephew's bad behavior, all the more as it is with her money that the young man paints the city red, always accompanied by Pat. She then decides to send them both to the West Indies, where she owns a sugar-cane plantation, in the hope that far from temptation they will reform. But after five months of marriage, Geneviève gives birth to a child whose real father turns out to be Henri, the salesman of the Bourrachon pharmacy. Mrs Bruneau will then try to persuade her brother to bring an action disavowal of paternity for the honor of the family and especially to protect the inheritance of his own daughters. But Bourrachon will eventually become attached to the child and endorse his paternity.

The Money Maniac

Joe kidnaps Garros' daughter, Rolande, and claims that she has also died. After Didier Bouchard, another member of the group, gathers the partners and their heirs together, Joe lures them into a building where, ostensibly, a sale of the land is to take place. Joe imprisons them, but they escape in time to attend the sale. An investor named Milo d'Espail learns that Rolande is still alive and rescues her from Joe. Bouchard marries Thérèse, another of Garros's daughters.

Dédé

Dédé is a young wealthy man who buys a shoe store, owned by his friend Robert, in order to receive more conveniently his mistress. Everything seems fine and Dédé seems to be enjoying all of this. But the man barely knew that he would fall in love with one of the many pretty vendors of his new "acquisition", favoring this new girl over the previous one.

Years later, as a result of his determination to stay alive and his willingness to aid his Roman master, Judah returns to his homeland an exalted and wealthy Roman athlete. Unable to find his mother and sister, and believing them dead, he can think of nothing else than revenge against Messala.

Dora Nelson

Dora Nelson, a famous actress, leaves both her husband Philippe de Moreuil and the role she was playing in a movie directed by Nivert, to follow her lover Santini in Italy. But she soon realizes that Santini deceives her with a girl named Elsa. In vexation she decides to return to her husband and to her career. Unfortunately for her, Suzanne Verdier, a little working girl, has in the meantime replaced her not only in the film she had left unfinished but in her husband's heart as well. Dora eventually understands she must step aside.

Treasure Island
