Denmark, 1967. In the midst of a cultural renaissance, all cultured people want to support Danish cinema, especially when it receives funding from the film fund to shoot scenes on location in a bank. The respectable bankers naturally agree to play extras in their own bank and be a little cultured for just one evening. No one suspects that the film's script is the work of "Grosserer Nielsen" from Vesterport, alias "Smukke Arne." No one suspects why "Karate Smutti" is having a field day teaching physical exercises. No one suspects why little Mrs. Jensen in the attic across from Aktiebanken has two nice lodgers. No one knows why Rosa—Dad's own pet—is fussing over her window boxes in the porch. WHO relieved Aktiebanken of 2 million stray dollars is a mystery—except to Judge Vinter. But Handsome Arne and Rose are enjoying an expensive and wonderful vacation—far, far, far away from Denmark.

Tove Andersen's problem ends in Christianshavn's moat, and this is where the film begins. The body has a noose around its neck. The homicide division is called in, and it turns out that shortly before her death, she had undergone an illegal operation. Bastian and Lene are a good couple, as a journalist and press photographer. They take turns to get ideas for how to get a scoop for the magazine "Tit og Lyt". They agree to play husband and wife so that Bastian can get an apartment. Lene is deeply in love with Bastian why she gets their mutual friend Soren to send a man from the housing authority. He says that they most have one child to stay in the apartment.

Walter's a handsome airline steward who catches the eye of Inge, winner of Malaga's Miss Moonlight contest. Carlo is a motor-mouthed goof who has a "heel bar" (a combination shoe shop and tavern); his companion, Elly, is shooting a video of him. Inge discovers she's an unwitting smuggler, bringing diamonds into Denmark in the heel of a sandal she's won at the beauty contest.

Based on a true story from the fateful day of August 29, 1943, when the Germans disarmed the Danish army and navy. The minesweeper MS 1 plays the leading role in the film about the ship that refused to surrender. The commander, Captain U.H. Gad, camouflaged the boat as a tugboat under the name 'Sorte Shara'. With Sweden as its destination, the boat set sail and experienced hours of excitement as it approached the German observation posts.

Poul Henriksen is a bank teller, a man in his prime with a hobby of studying Napoleon. He is happily married to the lovely Mrs. Gerda, a devoted mother to their three children. She has long since learned that men always remain big boys, and she is therefore also a mother to her husband. Their son William is "something" in an office, which bores him terribly. Instead, he has thrown himself into jazz with fanatical zeal and dreams of becoming the greatest jazz musician of all time. William also has a girlfriend, Nina, who is enthusiastic about jazz and visits him at all hours of the day and night, which greatly concerns his parents. A conflict forces Poul to kick his son out of the house. This makes the parents unhappy, and on top of that, they have come to believe that William should have a child with Nina.

Done back-to-back with "Kidnapping", 1982, this family entertainment continues the saga of little Bertram's rather erratic and not always law-abiding family. Parents, chief schemer Uncle Georg, Bertram and his swarm of siblings all get into hot water when Betram's slapdash kindergarten artwork is somehow being mixed up with a famous painting from a museum.

The tween, Mads, finds it hard to fit in. Having feelings for a girl in class and a clumsy farther who is a teacher at his school doesn't help. By an unforeseen chance of events, Mads becomes somewhat of a hero, but will he win the girl?

Torben's father and farmer Jacob make a trade. Jacob gets a gearbox and Torben's father gets peace: Torben must be at farmer Jacob on the farm the rest of his summer holidays. After a gruesome meeting with the tax authorities Alex Alexander takes a drive in the countryside to calm down. While driving, he accidentally runs into an elephant from a circus. When he is stopped by the police and tells them about the elephant they think he is crazy. He is committed to an asylum by the very authorities his taxes are funding. The doctor tries to convince him that the elephants were not really there, but he gets more help from manic fellow patient Knudsen who makes him realize that everybody in the world is crazy in some way.

The old comrades are called up for three weeks of autumn maneuvers. They are usually more interested in beer, girls, and cheerful music, but Sergeant Vældegaard is determined to scrape the civilian rust off the "boys." Their old friends from their days as recruits have remained in the system as platoon leaders and sergeants, respectively, but that does not dampen the fun. In the heat of battle, the schoolteacher finds time to flirt with his Lotte Corps colleague Birthe.

The cheerful, traveling musicians Flink and Villy meet sweet music in the form of two girls. Unfortunately, the chrome nut is tone deaf and chases them away. Luck smiles on them, however, because the nearby castle Bullerborg is abandoned. Flink and Villy move in - and get mixed up in a fight between a cunning lawyer, a bankrupt count and a sausage maker family.
