The daughter of a powerful husband in a mountainous village in Greece is being forced to marry a wealthy villager while loving a poor lad. Her beloved will leave the village, giving an oath to return and marry her.

Gerasimos is a typical example of a family man, living under the oppressive care of his wife, who literally does not let him do anything. But one day another woman enters his life, but unfortunately for him they have a car accident. Papa-Malachias, Papa-Haros and Papa-Bilias have founded the Priestly Band and make appearances at the nightclub "Xerokomata". Their abbot, who is learning their new occupation, comes to Athens, but fails to make sense of them. When he returns to the monastery of Medouli and tells everything to the other monks, they leave the monastery and form their own rebetika bands, causing a crisis in the field of folk song. At the same time, Papa-Lazaros, who is looking for a solution to his financial problems and at the same time is trying to find money to build a new wing for his parish's orphanage, is resorting to the following solution: setting up a football team with priests.

Eleana is a prostitute who appears to have been abused when she was younger. During her daily encounters with various clients, she meets a young labourer called Christos whom she momentarily tries to develop a normal relationship with. Old habits die hard and she soon hits the streets again but it's too late, Christos has become infatuated with Eleana and plans to marry her. Gradually, the pressure and stress of the situation starts to take it's toll on Eleana's sanity and leads to a surreal, nightmarish climax!

At a small village, somewhere in Greece, a 10-year old boy gets raped by a powerful man. The boy's mother (who suffers from cancer) tries to prove who is the guilty one. In the meanwhile, the movie goes on showing how teenagers become male prostitutes. It depicts Athens in a very decadent way. A reporter starts working on an article about this case and gets beaten by a bunch of gay bikers! Teenage boys get laid with wealthy middle-aged men who pay well for these 'services'. One of these boys strangles his wealthy client and he is immediately arrested.
