The first film adaptation of Jerry Cotton. FBI agents Jerry Cotton and Phil Decker are tracing a group of six murderers. Disguised as a vagabond Jerry Cotton infiltrates the gang. Kitty, the leader's girlfriend, soon becomes Jerry's most important helper. With her help, he's able to prevent a bomb's explosion in a school. The deadly attack on a rich collector he can not prevent. The gangsters flee with the loot and a hunt to the death begins ...

Third Jerry Cotton Adaption. A big shipment of Nitroglycerine, enough to make a shambles of New York, mysteriously vanishes! It's a race between agent Jerry Cotton and the underworld to see who can find the deadly explosive first. To complicate things further, the nitro must be found before a torrid heat wave causes it to blow much of the city sky high.

An elaborate bank robbery takes place and the gangsters succeed although the FBI had been warned. Jerry Cotton, who is considered accountable for this major failure, loses his badge over this. Being the man he is, Cotton doesn't let the evil-doers forget that he has unfinished business with them.

While on tour somewhere in Italy, a famous German pop singer loses his voice. All tickets for the concerts have long been sold out. Someone from the "Star's" entourage finds a young local guy who used to walk around the city singing in a very similar voice. From then on, the pop star stood on stage in front of the microphone, only opening his mouth, while the unknown street singer sang for him, standing in front of the microphone behind the scenes. At the end of the film, the star's voice returns, and he begins to sing solo and in a duet with the young singer.

Martin Hinterkirchner, dissatisfied with his position, sends the hits he has secretly composed to a manager. One of them would be ideal for the famous singer Linda Borg, but her manager refuses. Unfortunately, Martin now blames Linda and has nothing good to say about her - in contrast to his grandfather Leopold, who met Linda at a dog show. When Martin stands in for his untalented friend Peter as a singer at a hit song competition and mistakenly believes he has failed, he returns to his Tyrolean home village of Himmelberg. Linda travels to Tyrol in a bad mood because she has received love letters from there. She has no idea that Martin's grandfather Leopold is the secret sender who wants to get her to sing Martin's hits.

The meticulous court councilor Geiger suddenly realizes: 18-year-old Mariandl, who is applying to study music with him, is his own daughter. Remorsefully, he decides to fulfill his fatherly duties and travels to Dürnstein, where he met Mariandl's mother, Marianne, 19 years ago. Willi Winzig is a small tax officer with a big heart. He sometimes lets the tax files of his insolvent fellow citizens disappear into the air shaft. But shortly before his retirement, the shaft is so full that Willi has to dispose of the file of a penniless taxpayer in the wastepaper basket. The scam is promptly discovered and Willi is threatened with a hefty fine - even dishonorable dismissal from the civil service. Fortunately, friend and colleague Felix Klein knows what to do.

Car salesman Mark sails down the Rhine to Amsterdam in an old barge with his friend Ulli and a girl named Elke. During his shore leave, Mark repeatedly encounters the pretty tour guide Petra, who is traveling to the same destination with a busload of tourists. The two fall in love.

Leopold, head waiter at the "Weißen Rössl" (White Horse Inn), is secretly in love with the owner of the restaurant, Josepha. But she's only interested in the lawyer Dr. Siedler. Jealous, Leopold comes up with a plan to gain Josepha's attention.

Retired tax official Willi Winzig spends his retirement happily and contentedly in his home. However, this changes when his sister Heidelinde, her daughter and his father want to move in with him, and as Willi is a good-natured man, he takes them in, but because they have no money and his pension is not enough for all four of them, he has to take on a new job. He gets a job as a salesman for household appliances, but his good nature gets in the way again.

In Monte Carlo, a captain tries to raise the money to pay his crew at the gaming table, and meets and falls in love with a Queen.

Pepe Nietnagel and his fellow students of the Mommsen school come up with all kinds of ideas to get out of doing any actual school work. This includes simulating suicides, setting off the air-raid sirens and abusing the school director's new broadcasting system. They succeed in sending their teacher to a sanatorium and get a replacement that turns out to not be so bad after all.

Pepe Notnagel (who inexplicably had his name changed from the first movie's Nietnagel) and his classmates scheme to get around doing any actual school work by cheating or sending their teachers to the sanatorium. A Swiss documentary film maker disguises himself as his brother in law, who got a position as an exchange teacher, to aid his project of making a movie about the current youth.
