The Art of Loving: Story of Michalina Wislocka

Helina, a modest checkout assistant at the Butterfly retail chain, dreams about getting a better life for herself and her daughter. An opportunity presents itself when Helina becomes a store manager. However, she soon discovers that the price for better wages and an improved standard of living is dishonesty, employee exploitation, and fraud.

Based on a true story, Emi — a young, ambitious girl, dreams about life outside her small town. When an opportunity arises to become an exclusive escort, she jumps in without hesitation. Soon she climbs the ranks and starts her own VIP escort service; recruiting Polish celebrities, actors, singers, and models. However, the luxurious and enticing world eventually shows its dark side.

Inez is a young, aspiring journalist who dreams of love and a job at a prestigious publishing house. Once she gets to the paradise of her dreams, problems will start to multiply. What's more, two handsome men will appear at her side. Both mysterious and unpredictable.

The story of Nina - a modern day Cinderella and Robert - the son of the presidential couple. She is undergoing a transformation in life and is making her first steps in the paparazzi profession. He also wants to live on his own terms and free himself from the spotlight, which may turn out to be more difficult than he thinks. A picture of the broken world at the end of the century. A couple of contemporary young Polish intellectuals, artistic souls. They are sensitive beyond mediocrity, hence the daily hustle and bustle is not an excuse for them to live: they want to give it a meaning and shape of their own choosing. They search for their "roots", only to find out once again that, apart from natural tenderness, they have nothing in common with their families. There is no question of rebellion, of generational strife. Today's 30-year-olds face only technical, not sentimental, obstacles; childhood memories of parents not seen every day sink in, the image of a child living apart indifferently.

A feature film consisting of three half-hour films: "Non Stop Color" directed by Maria Sadowska, "Internal Road" directed by Dorota Lamparska, and "Room for Speed Dating" directed by Anna Maliszewska. All three films were made as part of the "30 minutes" program coordinated by the Polish Filmmakers Association - the Andrzej Munk "Youth and Film" Studio. The "Demakijaż" films are the authorial statements of young women. All three directors are before their full-length feature debut.
