One Last Afternoon

In a party, Fico bumps into Manolo, an old friend from school, a rascal who is running away from the mob who is after him. To take shelter in his friend house, Manolo fakes a desease that will start a series of entanglements that will change their lives. Soon they will find out that everything but friendship is an illusion.

The intense and unpredictable romance between a tailor and a young drama student, who commissions him to make the costumes for her graduation play, takes a dark turn when he meets her former lovers and opens up the relentless spiral of jealousy and distrust.

Alex will soon become a father. In a storage room, he discovers deeply disturbing family photographs. Some suggest his mother’s marital infidelity; others indicate his father, a retired officer, was involved in various acts of violence. Alex’s investigation leads him to a town devastated years before by the violence of the Internal Armed Conflict, where he uncovers his true and intricate family album.

In the 21st century, a mestizo village in the Peruvian Andes celebrates an ancient Andean marriage rite called La Palpa, in which the entire village, for several days, relives the famous "Andean reciprocity" through complex rituals and intense community dances.

It tells the story of a young married couple who travel to a resort to finalize the purchase of a beach house. Due to various unforeseen circumstances, they have to stay overnight at a nearby hotel. This free afternoon is initially seen as an invitation to boredom. After a brief excursion to the pier, it's the beginning of a game, a relaxation, a night of openness and inebriation. Back at the hotel, this relaxed atmosphere gives way to a frustrated eroticism, but then, while he bathes, she succumbs to a suddenly serene atmosphere. This is a moment of recognition and solitary courage for her: the acceptance that their relationship isn't built on anything certain.
