It's a Dog's Life

While his wife believes him to be at a corporate seminar in Paris, Jean-Luc is sitting on a boat sailing in the bayou somewhere in Louisiana. He has an appointment with the voodoo wizard Richardson. This wizard is known for solving all the problems.

Minoule is a mischievous cat. He lazily relaxes on the edge of the window, under the roof. In the distance, the song of a little canary in its cage opens his appetite. But the path that leads up to the prey turns out full of pitfalls.

A little rat lives surrounded by books and epic adventures. When the candle goes out and the matchbox is empty, he's going to go out on a dangerous mission all over the house, looking for a ray of light.

Kiki the canary only knows his cage and the old lady who feeds him. He dreams of flying with the free birds from outside. When at last the door of the cage stays open, he escapes and discovers the big outside where it’s necessary to know how to fly. Finally, being a free bird, it’s scary.

The journey of this worn out and tired old man is jeopardized by a stupid accident with a scooter. Thanks to Abdou, who calls on the help of some of the neighborhood’s unusual characters, Santa’s distribution is completed. In a mayhem of song and dance, Christmas is saved!

At the top of a canyon, the old Indian Flying Shadow teaches the young Nayati the ancient art of smoke signals. This is the meeting of two opposite characters. The boy’s hyperactivity upsets the calm of the old shaman soon causing disaster.

For the cat, life in the cemetery is paradise. It is calm and he only has to stretch out his paw to catch a mouse. But this time, the ghost of the mouse comes to haunt the cat…
