The Blood of the Innocent

The journalist Nadia investigates the suicide of a girl in a house of ill fame, especially since the sister of the suicide girl rejects the fact that her sister was a prostitute. Meanwhile, Officer Ahmed also tries to uncover the mystery of the incident that coincided with the disappearance of many girls, and they reveal the mastermind behind a ring that recruits girls to work in prostitution.

Set in the 1970's, a group of actors work on a new play. They discover that the play's events revolves around their true behind-the-scenes characters, with the script presenting their deepest and darkest secrets. The actors try to put a stop to the revealing play, but their manager insists that the show must go on.

Al-Gama'a is an Egyptian television drama, Historical and Political drama series written by Wahid Hamid, directed by Mohammed Yasin and produced by Kamel Abu Ali. The series began filming in January 2010 with a budget of 50 million Egyptian pounds. The show deals with the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt’s largest Islamist political group, which was officially banned but nonetheless tolerated to an extent before the revolution.
